What should I consider going out wearing a corset?

Going out the first time wearing my corset, what should I consider?

First your body should become accustomed to a new corset - just like the corset should adapt to your body. Due to the flexible steel boning the corset embraces closely your body, following and forming its individual shape. After a while the steel boning forms a bit to your body. Before deciding to celebrate a whole night corsetted, you should in any case wear your corset at home quite often. It´s like with a new pair of wonderful high heels, which first want to be broken in and also your feet should first become accustomed to them. You should wear your new corset the first time about 1 hour at home, then some days later again and for a longer time. Take your time. Find out, how tight you want to be laced, where exactly the narrowest part of your waist is and the right place for the so-called central grommets, through which you regulate the tightness of the lacing,... If you don t have enough time for getting accustomed with the corset, but you want to wear it for an event, then take an alternative top with you, to be sure that you can enjoy the whole evening.

Can I eat and drink wearing a corset like I used to do without corset?

Corsets conceal and flatten your tummy - so you can imagine, that while wearing a corset there is less place for food and drinks in your stomach as usual. Of course you can eat and drink corsetted, but the corset has a welcome secondary effect: Your stomach gets full faster and you get the signal earlier that you have had enough. So corsetted you can not eat as much, but also you don t want to eat as much as usual. But generally you should avoid food which blows up your tummy. Especially rice, cereals and carbonated beverages can spoil the party, so you should avoid them.
